Friends of West Yorkshire Playhouse

Becoming a Friend of West Yorkshire Playhouse offers regular opportunities to meet socially both at the Playhouse and at other venues, with special events including meet the cast parties, celebrity lunches and theatre visits.

Recent fundraising enabled the theatre to buy Booster Seats for the Courtyard Theatre,helped improve some of the auditorium lighting and Friends have also made a significant donation towards the creation of First Floor, the Playhouse's venue for young people.

The Friends of the West Yorkshire Playhouse are an independently run charity who support the theatre both financially - through memberships and fees and fundraising, and practically - by volunteering for various activities.
