Dandy Lion Club

Box-office.jpgDandy Lion Club is a fun, creative day for young people with learning disabilities.

It takes place once a year and there are a variety of taster sessions for 14 to 25 year olds with learning disabilities including drama, singing, dance, music and DJing. Families and friends are also very welcome and we have plenty to keep everyone busy with costumes, face painting, visual arts, relaxing massage, a sensory area, magic mirror room, a café and a big dance floor for anyone who wants to show off their moves!.

West Yorkshire Playhouse sees itself as a community resource and we enjoy making active connections with the communities we serve. We work with awide range of groups and agencies as well as with individuals drawn from all sections of the community. We're continually seeking new ways in which to engage groups and individuals and to ensure that their needs are met as effectively as possible.
